I walked past this place several times to pass it from the MTR to my accommodation. During the evening time, there is always a long line of people wanting to try these doughnuts out, so of course, I had to give them a try.
I ordered the normal crispy milk doughnut and the taro-filled doughnut. The crispy milk doughnut is coated in sugar and then icing sugar. I thought that, overall, the doughnut would be very sweet. However, the doughnut was not, and the doughnut dough was lovely, light, crispy and not oily. I found this quite peculiar as it seemed the doughnut was not drained of oil in the cooking process, and the doughnut seemed to be dusted with sugar and then icing sugar.

The taro-filled doughnut was also somewhat surprising. The dough was not as light and crisp but was still very good, and the taro filling was easy to eat. The doughnut, just like the other one, was not too sweet and very easy to eat.
I highly recommend this doughnut shop, even though you may have to wait a while. They also serve a salted egg version, which I really like to try.
