This little eatery is very close to my accommodation, and I needed some breakfast, so I decided to try this place as it had a 4.5 rating on Google Maps. As it is so close to numerous hotels, they have a menu printed in English with the words promotion on the top, which I found rather funny.

I ordered the dumplings, the flaky scallion pancakes with ham, cheese and egg and a hot milk tea. The milk tea was nice and comforting. It was only 12° outside, and I greatly appreciated the warmth of the drink. I did find it interesting, though, how sweet the drink was. However, it did make it easier to drink. The dumplings were delicious. The skins were crisp, and I liked how thin the overall dumpling was, which I may copy when making dumplings at home as they are a lot crispier. The filling was good with pork and some cabbage, I think, and it came with their homemade chilli, which tasted really good. Next was the scallion pancake, which I enjoyed, except for the American cheese slices they used. It also came with a sweet sauce that had some oyster sauce in it. However, I wasn’t sure if it was the same sauce that came with the dumplings.

All in all, it is a great place to get a quick and cheap meal. There are some limited seats inside, and they are also set up for extra seats outside if required. They are only a breakfast eatery and close around midday.
