A new bakery near Queen Victoria Market is generating buzz with its unique flavours and offerings. Upon arrival, a line greeted me, eager to sample their goods. The selection was intriguing, from Pan a Bugogi to Garlic Croissants to the more traditional. Opting for a Portuguese tart and an Almond Chocolate croissant, I found the tart’s custard pleasantly vanilla-infused, though the base lacked the anticipated crispiness and flakiness. In contrast, the Almond Chocolate croissant boasted a flaky texture, smooth almond butter, and a delightful chocolate-croissant fusion. Despite slightly higher prices, the quality impressed me, ranking it above Bakemono and just shy of Lune.
