After enjoying some Japanese curry, we were in the mood for something sweet. A quick search on Google Maps led us to a gelato shop nearby. The shop, though small and a bit tucked away, was charming and offered house-made gelato with rotating flavours. The menu looked intriguing, so I decided to give it a try.
I chose two flavours: Yuzu Cheesecake and Blueberry Cheesecake. What set this place apart was the small drizzle of coulis they added on top of each scoop, a unique touch that enhanced the experience.
The Yuzu Cheesecake was delightful—smooth and creamy, though I had expected it to be a bit tarter. Nonetheless, it worked beautifully, with just the right balance of flavour. The Blueberry Cheesecake, however, was my favourite. It had a more comforting and well-rounded taste that felt nostalgic and satisfying.

This shop is a wonderful spot for house-made gelato and ice cream, with unique flavours that stand out. I noticed they even had a pumpkin flavour, which I was tempted to try. They also offer takeaway tubs, which is great if you want to bring some home. However, I was surprised to learn that you couldn’t eat the tubs inside the shop—you’d need to take them outside.
Overall, it’s a fantastic little spot to explore and try some creative Japanese gelato flavours. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
