I was walking around Millenia Walk when I discovered that a newly opened Chick-fil-A had arrived. My cousins from New York have always told me it wasn’t worth my time trying it, so I’d never bothered. But I kept hearing people talk about Chick-fil-A, and seeing that this location was brand new and had a good Google rating, I thought I’d finally give it a try.
I’m not sure if this is how all Chick-fil-A locations operate, but when I joined the queue and said I was dining in, I was told to place my order and then find the table with my name on it. So that’s exactly what I did.
I ordered the Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich Combo, which came with their waffle potato fries and Chick-fil-A lemonade. I also added an order of their Chick-fil-A Nuggets with the famous Chick-fil-A Sauce.
Once I’d ordered, I found my table and waited for a little while before my food arrived. The chicken sandwich didn’t look particularly impressive, and unfortunately, my first bite left me feeling pretty disappointed. The nuggets, however, were a completely different story. They were hot, tender and really tasty, and whatever they put into that Chick-fil-A Sauce is the real winner for me. That sauce was seriously good.

The waffle fries were okay. I think they would have been much better if they’d been served hotter, although I was impressed by just how many fries they managed to squeeze into that little box! The lemonade, which was probably the highlight of the meal for me. It was definitely on the sweet side, but I really enjoyed the tartness and how refreshing it was, especially on a hot and humid Singapore day.
Overall, I don’t think I’ll be rushing back to Chick-fil-A unless someone tells me I ordered the wrong things and points me towards something I should have tried instead.
The service, though, was genuinely impressive. By the time I’d finished eating, the table had already been cleared and I was left with just my drink. A staff member then came over and offered me a free refill, which they happily filled for me.
Wow. That was a nice touch—and honestly, probably one of the best parts of the experience.
