Afterspending eight days in New York, I have to say that I ate a lot of food. With the adventures that I went on and the food I tried, I am scared to know how much weight I put on. At least I managed to walk everywhere and did at least 25,000 steps a day while in New York. Also I am kind of scared to know how much money I spent on food while in New York. The fantastic thing was that I had a lot of family that also like food and they also went on food adventures with me.
Best Breakfast;
So the best place I ate breakfast was in China Town in Lower Manhattan. There is a place called; Sun Hing Lung Fo Hun. This place just makes the best steamed rice rolls and are so good for breakfast or even lunch. They are made fresh to order and you can add many different things to them. Even though this is maybe not your cup of tea, I urge you to try it. The unfortunate thing is there is no seats and you have to eat the food outside.

Best Asian Meal
I went to this place when I was in New York while in December. Lam Zhou Hand Made Noodle & Dumpling make hand pulled noodles and they are just so good and the dumplings are fantastic as well. They are not necessarily look the cleanest but they are just so good.

Best Delicatessen
I have to say that Russ and Daughters are just so good. They make really good bagels and the spread they put on their bagels are fantastic. They were so good, that I had to go back when I was in New York in September. Their bagels are just so good and I can see why there always tends to be a line when you want to order something.

Best Takeaway Lunch
I am a sucker for a Banh Mi and I went on a bit of an adventure to try the best Bahn Mi. “Phoebe” liked Banh Mi Saigon, while “Voltron” liked Saigon Vietnamese Sandwich. I agreed with “Phoebe” to “Voltron’s” displeasure. It was just a better well rounded banh mi and the ingredients were more evenly spread out inside the sandwich and it most importantly tasted better.
Banh Mi Saigon Address; 198 Grand St, New York, NY 10013, USA

Even though I did not go to Halal Guys late at night. I can imagine after a night on the town Halal Guys would fill the spot. I have to say their garlic yogurt is just so good.

Best American Food
Pies’n’Thighs was just so good. Their fried chicken was outstanding, their biscuit was so good with the apple jam and the donut, Good Southern Food in a Diner like atmosphere.

If you are wanting Pizza in Manhattan and not go all the way to Brooklyn or only want a slice. Joe’s Pizza is the place to go. The tomato sauce is just so good and the base is super thin. What else can you ask for in a pizza.
