I decided to go and have a look at Suppreme Coffee’s Midland Market. I thought maybe I would be able to get some cheap coffee stuff and maybe sample a few things. Well I was hugely disappointed, yes you could sample a few things from Wellington Chocolate Factory, Fix and Fogg Peanut Butter and Six Barrel Sodas, but there was no coffee being brewed. I did sample the new Supreme Coffee Syrup from Six Barrels and that was really nice, but I was surprised to taste how sweet it was compared to their first collaboration. There were no coffee products on discount but I did manage to buy something for Momma Bear and I bought myself some single origin beans.

I have brewed this coffee two ways. Firstly thought a v60 and the second time through the gold filter. The first time I had it, I was surprised how well balanced the bean was. There was no sharpness in taste and was rather clean and smooth. I then brewed using my gold filter and I prefered this method better for this bean. The flavours are my evident and you can taste the summer berries more but it still has the smoothness, which I presume is the milk chocolate flavour that is written in the tasting notes.

Overall a very nice roast. I clean taste that does not have the wrong bitterness or sharpness that sometimes come with other roast. If you want to introduce yourself to single origins, I think this is the one to go to.
