After trying their Wellington on a Plate burger, I wanted to try their a la carte menu. So when the opportunity came up to have dinner with friends, I suggest this place. Franziska was relatively busy for a Wednesday night, as the front section was full, so we were asked to find a table at the back, which was a bit more secluded and not as full.

Grilled Octopus ‘causa’

Potatoes, Avacado & Black Olive Mayo

I wanted to try something different, so I thought I would give this a try. The octopus was fresh and nicely grilled. The potato was roughly mashed with avocado placed around and on top of the potato. Mixed with the black olive mayonnaise, this was a really nice dish. Also, there was some lemon juice squirted on top which complimented everything really well.

Milanesa alla Napolitana

Beef Rump Schnitzel, Tomatoes, Mozzarella, Oregano

This was a massive dish, which a lot of meat. The salad was really nice and nicely seasoned. The schnitzel was really good, with the tomato and the mozzarella. It was nicely cooked and nicely seasoned, but I did struggle to eat all of it.

Caramel Flan with Caramel Sauce

They do not write their menu here, but I decided to have the caramel flan. The flan was really nice and smooth and not overly sweet. The side of caramel sauce was really nice and went really well with the flan. The yoghurt was a  nice addition and everything tied together really well.

The food is really good here and compliments their sister restaurants; Bustardo and Cicio Cacio Osteria. The service is good and the food is nicely cooked and well seasoned. The decor is good with a record player playing music at the front of the restaurant.  This place is a good addition to Seatoun and compliments the different eateries of the Eastern Suburbs really well.
