I heard that the Seafood Chowder is well worth a try at this place from Momma Bear. Betty Boop and I were walking past on a cold Spring day and I told her about this place and she was keen to give it a try. I have hard Fish and Chips around here before and they are good but I only wanted something to warm me up.
Seafood Chowder
You don’t come here if you want your food to look presentable. My chowder was served in a plastic counter and was heated up in the microwave as it was sitting in ice next to all the fresh fish. However, when it arrived the soup was hot and I just wanted something to warm me up. Also the pepper and salt were in a sachet ready for me to tear the pepper open and add it to my chowder. The chowder was packed with seafood and vegetables. From what I could identify, there were carrots, celery and potato. In the seafood front, there were pieces of fish, smoked fish, shrimps, scallops and small mussels. The chowder was really good and thick and packed a lot of flavour and lots of seafood. For $10.50, how can you go wrong?
