This was one of the places that I investigated to try Japanese Ramen at. It seemed pretty popular at night, so I went for lunch. It was a lovely day outside, and they have outdoor seating here, so I chose to sit outside.
I ordered the White Tonkotsu Ramen with an Egg and some Karaage Chicken. The Chicken came first with a dipping sauce; this is potentially the best Karaage Chicken I have had. It was so crisp with this nicely seasoned light batter, and the chicken was perfectly cooked. The dipping sauce had a nice little kick and complimented the chicken very well.

Next came the Ramen. The Tonkotsu was really nice and very well-rounded in flavour. It wasn’t overpowering or too salty. It just sat quite nicely. The Ramen was really good, though, and had a nice bite in the texture. It went well with the fungus and bamboo. The char siu was nice, had a good flavour to it and was cut on the thicker side. Also, the egg was really good, cooked perfectly and went really with everything in the bowl
Overall, a nice ramen spot with great outdoor seating and a great place to people-watch.
