So I arrive in San Fran just IMG_4439.JPGbefore mid-day and I had decided during my flight that my first meal in San Fran would be at In and Out Burger on Fisherman’s Wharf.  I was there around 2pm and it was full.  People share tables here so they can get a seat.  It was not frantic but it was busy.  I decided to order a Double Double burger, French fries and a Choclate Shake.

The Chocolate shake was awesome.  It was creamy and had a good chocolate taste to it.  It was flavorsome and actually tasted a bit like Lewis Road Creamy Whittakers Chocolate milk but in a more or a thickshake style.  Yum!

The French Fries looked like they were cut on site and had a good taste to them.  The great thing also is that the salt is in a packet on the top of the fries, so you can decided how much salt you want.  The fries still had some of the skin on and that add more of a geniune flavor.

IMG_4441.JPGNext was the burger and it was amazing.  The first bite got me.  You bit into it and you here this crunch from the onion and lettuce (absolutely fresh).  Also the bun was grilled and the meat patty even though it was fully cooked it was thin and had a good flavor to it.  The cheese was american yellow cheese which just added to the expereience.  Although I am not a fan of the yellow chese when in american you just have to have it.  (Bring on the Philly Cheese Steak!)

Overall experience.  The In and Out Burger is famous in California and they offer great service and the staff actually look like they like working there.  They are welcoming and friendly and for  $8.80 what else can you ask for and I didn’t even finish it.
