You guessed it, I am trying another fried chicken joint, but in Melbourne. They come up on my Instagram feed and I started following them a while back. The photos they posted made my mouth water and I now have the opportunity to try them. There are three eateries you can choose from and each are relatively easy to get to. Sandy had tried this place previously and said that the spice levels are pretty insane.

Wings – Really Hot – Mac and Cheeses

When this came to the table I was excited. There were four good size wings with lots of color and the mac and cheese looked really appetising. I also ordered a blue cheese sauce to go with my chicken.

The mac and cheese was really nice and the paprika added a nice little kick and seasoning to it. It was cheesy and pasta was cooked nicely. However, it wasn’t as temperature hot as I thought it would be and was more warm. I did eat some with the blue cheese dressing and was a good mix.

I know many people do not like eating chicken wings as they see them as messy. However, my grandmother said that she always found them to be the sweetest and tastiest part of the chicken and I would agree with her hands down. With chicken wings you have to work for your food but it is the most rewarding and you had to with these wings as well. My fingers got so messy, but the chicken was just so good. The coating was crisp, nicely seasoned and was really hot (which I loved). Dipping the wings with the blue cheese sauce was fantastic and the pickles on the side were also very good.

Overall this place was fantastic I loved every moment. This was so dam good fried chicken and a must to visit. Service is good and relatively easy to get there via tram if you’re visiting the Fitzroy eatery. Nice decor, layout, got a good drinks menu and has much needed wet serviette.
