Found myself looking for some food and decided to head down to Capital Market on Willis Street. Last time I was here having Oriental Blues, I saw quite a few people lining behind One Sushi. This time, I decided to give it a try.
Chicken Katsu Donburi
For $8 you get a large Chicken Katsu Donburi and $7 for a small. I was hungry/greedy and decided to go for the large. At the bottom of the bowl, of course, was rice, then there was finely cut up vegetables of cabbage, carrot, and red onion. On top was chicken katsu, then there was teriyaki and japanese mayonnaise layered on top of everything. The difficult thing about this was working out where to begin so none of the items fell on the table. Once I mastered that, I was happy as Larry. The katsu chicken was crisp and nicely cooked and even though there was lots of sauce on top, the ratio of all the items worked really well. Yummy!
For $8, this place is a bargain and if I need food on the cheap, I know where to go.
