I was walking around K road and originally wanted to try somewhere else for lunch but they were closed. I ended up at this place because something caught my eye, I looked online about this place and it was rated highly so I decided to have lunch there.

Roti Chennai

They make their own Roti and you can see a person flip the dough and cook it just behind the counter. The pieces of Roti were good size and looked really fluffy The dahl curry although there was a generous amount, it looked quite watery. The Roti was really nice, not too sweet, nice and fluffy and served really hot. The dahl although was watery, was really nice and had a good flavour but was a shame that it didn’t stick to the Roti very well.

Mee Goreng

This was the lunch special for the day. I was surprised how much was on the plate. It looked and smelled really good. I have not tasted a mee goreng as good as this for a long time. It was really good! I liked the flavours in the noodles with the crispy shallots, the Chinese chives and the other items in the noodles. The only thing I would complain about this dish would be the lack of seasoning on the chicken prior to it being cooked. But still a really good mee goreng.

This place is fantastic and cheap. I love it. The food was fast, the roti is made on site. What else do you want from Malaysian food?
