Went back to Lola Stays for lunch with Betty Boop. It was a last minute decision to go and eat here as I changed the location of lunch. I had been here once and since I had a good meal here I changed the location so we could eat here. Interesting enough, I didn’t order a coffee as I had already had two in the morning meeting up with another friend for a chat.
Breakfast Bruschetta
FR Bacon, Halloumi, Poached Eggs & Tomato on Ciabatta
I was very impressed when this came to the table. The eggs were nicely poached and the bacon was nice and crisp. The tomatoes were nicely grilled and as to was the ciabatta. The best part was the halloumi and combining all the other elements together. Overall this was a really nice dish and I loved the pesto at the bottom of the place.
Fries
These were great fries. Nicely cooked and I loved the aioli with them. They were nice and crisp and I love how they still have the skin on them. I was not sure if they were seasoned with salt but I just could not be bothered putting some on
Overall again another great meal with Lola Stays. The decor is really nice and the service is really good. The food came out pretty fast and definitely a nice place to eat on a nice day so you can go for a walk afterwards.
