This was another place that I researched about as one of the best places to get a Singaporean Cuisine dish. I originally thought that this place was in a hawker centre but I was wrong as it was on the corner of the street in a building that also houses two other food stalls with actual no walls facing the street. It doesn’t look the cleanest of places nor a lot of light in the eatery but it is rated really high so I had to give the place a try.

Of course, I ordered the duck rice and after doing the research I think it is the only dish you can order here. However, you tell one of the owners how many people in the party and they will sort out how much duck you need and how much rice you need as well. You can also add boiled eggs and peanuts if you want and I only added eggs due to peanut allergy.


This looked good when it arrived. I decided to taste the soup first and my sense just exploded with this taste of sweetness and gaminess. This soup had so much flavour and I loved the freshness from the fresh spring onions in there as well. The duck was so tender, the boiled egg legendary and I loved the rice but the real winner was this dark gooey sauce that they put on the dish. My goodness, this was a phenomenal dish and adding the chilli just bought everything together really nicely.

This is a real winner hear people and worth travelling away from the tourist spots of Singapore to try this out.
