Decided to try another place that makes Chicken Rice and compare it to Tian Tian. Sinh Ji Hainanese Chicken Rice is a place that is highly recommended so I thought I would make my way out there and give it a try.

This place is an actual eatery not located in a Hawker stall or on the street. The place is nicely air-conditioned and is clean with big windows facing the street. I decided to try both versions of their chicken, the white chicken and the dark chicken.

Firstly the soup was alright nothing really to write home about but was nice to have. The white chicken was nice and tender and had some really nice flavours to it. The dark chicken was also good and you could tell it was roasted with some nice seasonings to it. I did order the thigh pieces so it was more expensive and there were bones. The biggest disappointment was the rice. It was just not what I expected with nice fluff and drier.

Overall, not a bad Hainan Chicken, but I definitely prefer Tian Tain over this place. The service was good and did slightly take a bit of time to get out there but was also nice to explore the area.
