Ok, so I went to Shake Shack in Singapore and when I was walking passed the Shake Shack in Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui. I discovered that their Milkshake special was the Milk Tea Shake, so I had to give it a try. While I was there, I also compared the Shroom Burger to one of their meat burgers, the SmokeShack.

Firstly the Milk Tea Shake is mixed with their Vanilla flavoured custard blend and black tea, and it is a winner. If you like bubble tea, you will like this one. It is really good and tastes just like a bubble tea but in a milkshake form and without the tapioca balls.

Comparing the Shroom Burger to the SmokeShack, I feel that the Shroom burger is the burger to beat. I liked the bacon and the patty in the SmokeShack but the cheese and the mushroom and the ShakeSauce is just too hard to beat in my opinion. Shack Shake is the first burger joint I have been to where the vegetarian option beats the meat option.

I did go back as I wanted to have the Milk Tea shake again but I also ordered the Cheese Fries. I have to say, these were really good. The fries were nice and fresh and crisp. Although the cheese doesn’t look that appetising, it was really good and I wished they actually put more on the fries. I think what really got me was how fresh they actually were.

If you ever get the chance to dine at the Harbour City outlet as you get a great view of the Harbour and seeing the Star Ferry come in from Hong Kong Island, this could be one of the cheapest places to dine and get such a good view in Hong Kong
