Bacon Brothers have become a very popular eatery in Christchurch inside Little High, with them recently opening a second eatery in the middle of the CBD at Riverside Market. I have been a few times but surprisingly I have never blogged about it. What I find really interesting about Little High as a place is it is basically where Christchurch goes to eat if you are in the CBD at night. It is difficult to get a table and you walk around the city and it is surprisingly dead at night post-COVID-19. Bacon Brothers are one of the draw cards and there is always a line to order.
The burgers are really good and fresh. On my recent visit, I had the Shane. It is a pretty hard out burger with a beef patty, bacon, hash brown, cheese, egg, sausage and chorizo. It was so good, especially with the egg. I also ordered their home cut fries and they are nicely cooked and crisp with a good side sauce of aioli and BBQ sauce.
If you ever have the opportunity, the deep-fried cauliflower is a must and always seems to sell out. Bacon Bros is a must try and expect to wait for a table if you go during normal eating times as Bacon bros are not just the only good eatery at Little High.
