Some friends of a friend booked for us to have dinner here. I had never heard of the place nor did I even know where it was in Queenstown. We had a late booking but that was alright as we were a large table and booked last minute, plus it was a great opportunity for everyone to get know each other at a pub beforehand.

As a group we decided to order some starters of Guacamole, Queso Fundido and Salsas. The corn chips looked like that were made onsite and super tasty. The guacamole also had some pickled onion and herbs on top and were also super good. The queso fundido, which is melted cheese with also, some jalapeños and some seeds on top was also super good.

For the main I decided to go on the lighter side as I was not too hungry, but had Crispy Beef Check Taco and the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Taco/Bao Bun. Both of these were exceptional dishes but I really liked the Buttermilk Friend Chicken with the achiote bun, slaw and the pickled onions. I also tried the Coca Cola BBQ Pork Ribs and they were also super tasty and also liked how they weren’t as tender and the meat didn’t fall off the bone as easily.

Overall, a place really worth visiting. Really good service, the food came out relatively fast, caters for vegans and also had nice drinks. Highly recommend.
