Working around Napier and discovered this place. It looked like I had taken a step back in the past with classic old tables and chairs and menu boards. However, you take a closer look and you see a modern kitchen, espresso machine and sandwich presses.

I decided to order the Rueben and a Cold Brew with Milk. The coffee was really good, I know they use flight coffee but I am interested in what single origin bean they use. The Rueben arrived shortly after and loved seeing how thick the sandwich was. Firstly, the bread they use was so good and nicely toasted. The Cornbeef was nice and moist and everything else worked really well together.

After eating the Rueben, I was interested in trying another one of their sandwiches so I decided to order the (Not a Philly) Cheese Steak and I would agree that it is not a Philly Cheese Steak. The sandwich though was very nice, I loved the caramelised onion jam and the jalapenos and the steak was cooked perfectly.

Overall a really cool sandwich shop. I did think something was missing in the sandwich and that was a side of potato chips. While, I was thinking about it, I did see kettle fries sold in small bangs on the counter, but how good would it be if they made their own and it went with their sandwiches. Good for thought.
