Felt like a burger, and this place was just around the corner from my Hotel; plus, I did see a post about it on Instagram, so I decided to check this place out. The decor is very cool and has a slight 80’s feel, bringing it close to home for me.

I decided to order the Bernie Mac and some fries. The Bernie Mac had two smashed patties, American cheese, lettuce, B Mac sauce, homemade pickles and some diced onions. When the burger arrived, I was impressed not by the size but by the charring of the patty, and the edges had this crisp beef juice around it. I knew I was in for a treat and was not wrong. Everything in this burger just worked. I loved the pickles, the cheese and the onion. It was a good-tasting burger, and you really could not fault it. The fries were my favourite. Besides being thinly cut fries, their seasoning is so addictive. They are slightly sweet and then salty and savoury, just like salt and savoury popcorn. I could have just eaten them.
Overall a good burger joint. I was impressed. Nice flavours and good staff. A bit difficult to find, but got there in the end.
