While strolling along Swanston Street, I couldn’t help but notice the popularity of a small shop specializing in Asian deep-fried chicken pieces and other items. Intrigued, I decided to sample their deep-fried squid and spicy chicken wings.

After a bit of a wait due to the busy crowd, I finally got my order, but had to wait a bit longer as they were too hot to eat right away. Once cooled down, I dug into the squid and was pleasantly surprised. The batter was crispy, and the squid flakes were delightful. Opting for the salt and pepper seasoning added an extra layer of flavour, leaving me wishing I had ordered more.

Next up were the whole chicken wings seasoned with plum seasoning, which was a delightful combination. While the chicken was well-cooked and flavorful, it was a bit tricky to eat with just a single skewer provided, so I ended up enjoying them in my hotel room.

Overall, it’s a good spot for a snack but be prepared to wait for your order to be cooked.
