I did a bit of research before coming here because I really wanted a good laksa, so I turned to the Michelin Guide and found that this place had received a Bib Gourmand. The stall is inside a three-story complex filled with different hawker stalls, and honestly, I would have loved the chance to try them all. I swear there were more than 250 stalls throughout the complex.
I ordered a small portion of their Curry Chicken Laksa, which arrived pretty quickly as there was no queue. The bowl was packed with all sorts of different ingredients, including large pieces of deep-fried tofu, chicken, fish cake, potato, egg noodles, and another ingredient that soaked up all that delicious laksa broth.
The laksa itself was really tasty. I added extra sambal for a bit more kick, which I really enjoyed. You could tell the broth had been cooked for a long time, packed with layers of different spices and flavours.

With the other elements of the bowl. The chicken, which came from their chicken rice, was incredibly tender and tasty in its own right. I was a little surprised to find such a large chunk of potato in the bowl, but I actually loved it. The deep-fried tofu was another highlight because it soaked up so much of the laksa broth. I was also surprised to see egg noodles rather than the more traditional rice noodles, but somehow, everything worked really well together.
Overall, this was a really good laksa, and I can certainly see why it has received a number of accolades. The bowl was packed with flavour, had plenty of interesting ingredients, and was well worth trying.
