During the summer break, I managed to go to Seashore Cabaret on two different occasions. Both times Seashore was busy and had to wait for a table. I was never quite sure how to order food here. The first time we waited so long that we ended up going to the counter to order and the second time someone came and took our order.

Salt and Pepper Squid

Served with Housemade Aioli and Lemon

This was a really nice dish. However, I did not get any aioli. Instead, I got a dipping sauce, which was like a Vietnamese sauce. The sauce was slightly salty and had a nice tart flavour. The squid was fresh and had a nice coating on the squid with nice seasoning. I also ordered a side of hash brown which was nice with good seasoning and went nicely with the dipping sauce.

Cheese Burger Royale

150gram Patty, Cheese, Gherkin, Lettuce, Tomato, Burger Sauce and Hand-cut Fries

The burger was good. The bun was toasted on the inside and the patty was thick and served slightly pink. The cheese was nicely melted on the patty and the sauce complemented everything well. I loved the gherkin on top and the fries were nicely cooked and crisp.

Milkshake: Caramel

The milkshake was good. However, was slightly heavy with the sweetness. I liked the flavour of the caramel and was of good consistency.

Flat White

I was blown away on how strong this coffee was and bitter. I took me a while to get used to it. I am still not really keen on their house roast beans.

Overall I like the food here and the service is pretty good. The layout and decor is still very cool and I love the view of the Petone foreshore. They have good deals on a few days like two for one on Tuesday. The cabinet food looks good but I have not got to ordering that food yet.
